The curve of Kurdjali dam, Eastern Rhodope Mountain, Bulgarian. This is an iconic place for Bulgarian landscape photographers. I tried a more intimate approach and it turned out quite satisfying. Check out my Nightscape image of The Curve - The Curve Moonlit.
The sky is balanced with a 3-stop hard edge GND filter. Reflections in the water are removed with a CPL filter. I waited for the right light to provide warm tones in the sunlit areas and cool tones in the shades, especially needed for the blue in the water.
