Title Exposure date Category
My first really successful experiment in Solargraphy. This is a 2-month exposure with a pinhole camera made out of a beer can loaded with Ilford photo paper. This is the view from the balcony of my apartment in Trakia District, Plovdiv, Bulgaria. For those not familiar with Solargraphy, the trails in the sky are Sun Trails. When the Sun is not blocked from clouds it produces a trail on the image. Each day between Summer and Winter solstice and vice versa, the Sun has a different path on the sky. The longer the exposure, the thicker the arc of Sun Trails will be. The Sun being a star makes Solargraphy actually a type of Star Trails Photography.
