A classic view to the plateau of the medieval fortress Asara, Eastern Rhodope Mountain, Bulgaria. The famous Rock Mushroom in the right-hand side. Camera pointed to the West. This is a 3-hour exposure on film – Provia 100F 35mm. Drum scan. No post-processing involved. The foreground is moonlit for about 30 minutes. Another 30 minutes would have been better but still I adore the mood this faint light created.
